AWMAI Instructors Conference 2008
This annual professional development conference, hosted by the Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors (AWMAI), features various interactive workshops and seminars from many world-renowned female martial artists and successful business owners. Karen and Heather will demonstrate the two-person form "Tom Hoi", while Heather will perform the Snake kata as part of her qualification for international rank recognition.
NWMAF Special Training 2008 – coming to our backyard!
The National Women’s Martial Arts Federation international Special Training Camp for Women and Girls is July 17 –20, 2008 in Geneva, NY – an easy drive from Toronto. WEKAF World Championships 2008
Heather has again qualified to represent Canada in this international event, joining her colleagues from Combat Science/Warrior Arts of Asia (www.combatscience.net). The ‘adventure’ will feature additional competitions and rare opportunities to train with some Arnis Grand Masters, courtesy of Guro Laura Holmes.
